How To Use
This team uses MK11 Rain as the opener, Klassic Rain as the secondary fighter and Power generator, and Klassic Movie Johnny Cage for control. The many different debuffs also help Klassic Rain build his Power generation passive quickly. Start with MK11 Rain, who already has one bar of Power from his passive. Use Special Attack 1 early: Misfortune Teller applies Team Curse, while Takahashi's Gauntlets can add Team Shield Break after a successful Special Attack. Abyssal Wraith's Nightmare can also add Death Mark when Rain applies another debuff. If Rain applies Soaked through his counterattack, Divine Argus Cloak gives it a chance to spread to the entire opposing team. Klassic Rain benefits from every unique lasting debuff applied by the team, gaining additional Power generation for each one. Keep pressure with basic attacks and Combo Enders: his Combo Enders can apply Soaked, while Rockin' Bowling Stones improves the whole team's ability to break blocks. Movie Set Star also applies Blind when Rain tags in, adding another debuff and giving him a safer entry. Klassic Movie Johnny Cage is the control fighter. Restless Ninja's Call to Arms makes his successful Special Attack 1 apply Snare, while Restless Ninja's Figure can add Curse from basic attacks and improves his debuff resistance against Snared or Cursed opponents. Director's Chair converts the team's Power spending into stacking Critical Hit Damage, so Johnny's specials and Combo Sequences help prepare the next offensive cycle. The practical rotation is MK11 Rain SP1 → Klassic Rain for basic pressure, Power generation and Soaked attempts → Johnny Cage when Snare or extra control is needed → back to Rain for another powered offensive cycle. Klassic Rain's Team debuff-spread passive is not a core part of this setup because the other two fighters are not Klassic teammates.
