An active attacker uses the damage bonus while debuff-free; a benched wearer can still interfere with enemy buffs.
When it is useful
Clear the wearer's debuffs to restore the damage bonus; the pipe cannot steal unique personal buffs.
Best pairings
Dispel and debuff resistance help maintain bonus damage, while long combos create extra buff opportunities at fusion X.
