How To Use
This team uses Circle of Shadow Kung Lao as the main active fighter, MK1 Kenshi for Blind protection and burst utility, and Tormented Soul Spawn as a reserve fighter who becomes stronger while tagged out. Keep Kung Lao active and use his Special Attacks aggressively. Every Special Attack has a chance to cost no Power, allowing him to extend his pressure and sometimes chain several specials much faster than normal. Do not rely on the free-special trigger, however; treat it as a bonus and maintain enough Power for the next important attack. MK1 Kenshi makes Kung Lao immune to Blind, preventing one of the most disruptive effects for a Basic Attack-focused fighter. Kenshi can also build toward his ancestor sequence through successful Combo Enders. Once prepared, the ancestor spirit gives him a strong burst window, and defeating an opponent allows him to disrupt the remaining enemies' Power generation. Spawn works well from the reserve because he continues accumulating Necroplasm while tagged out. Bring him in once enough Necroplasm has been built to strengthen his counterattack and gain additional control such as Stun and Cripple. The usual plan is to keep Kung Lao active for sustained pressure while Spawn builds Necroplasm. Use Kenshi when his ancestor sequence or Power control is ready, and switch to Spawn when his accumulated Necroplasm can create a strong control window.
