Passive

Tarkat Bonehide
Anger bar charging: 4 sec.

While Baraka is active, his Anger Meter fills over time. It has 5 Bars, each one charges in 4 sec. Teammates' Special attacks charge Anger Bars too: SP1 - 1 bar; SP2 - 2 bars.

When Anger Meter is full and Baraka attacks with a successful Special or X-Ray, he consumes it and activates Tarkat Bonehide for 15 sec. His body spikes grant protection equal to 30% Baraka’s Max Health that absorbs all incoming damage and reflects 3% back to the active opponent, excluding any damage done over time.

If Tarkat Bonehide is activated by a SP with a 90%+ minigame result or by an X-Ray, Baraka deals 20% of his Health Stat as damage when this effect ends. Tagging Out by choice during the Tarkat Bonehide converts 50% of the remaining protection into damage.

Team Passive

After the Tarkat Bonehide, Klassic teammates heal 10% of their Max health. Max. 5 times.

Outworld's characters are immune to Cripple. Also, all Mileena characters gain Strengthen for 10 sec upon tag-in.

Role

Klassic Baraka helps his team survive strong attacks and recover health. With full Anger, he can activate Tarkat Bonehide to absorb damage. Anger builds while he fights, and teammates also charge it with specials.

Strengths

Bonehide lets Baraka withstand more damage, with its protection based on his maximum health. Tagging him out before it ends converts half the remaining protection into damage. Klassic allies recover some health after Bonehide ends.

Weaknesses

The protection needs full Anger and a successful special or X-Ray to activate. Bonehide does not reflect damage over time. Its extra damage on expiration requires activation with a special minigame result of at least 90%, or an X-Ray.

Best teams

Klassic allies receive healing after Bonehide. Outworld fighters gain Cripple immunity, while Mileena teammates receive temporary Strengthen on entry. Allies that frequently use specials help him charge Anger faster.

Where to use

Baraka is useful in longer fights where he can prepare protection before a strong enemy attack. He also helps a Klassic team recover between exchanges. If the protection is no longer needed, tag him out while some remains to turn it into extra damage.
