A free-special trigger combines resource efficiency with Power Drain. The possible team drain can affect later enemies as well as the current exchange.
Weaknesses
Free specials and the broader drain are chance-based, so budget power as if the next special may cost its normal amount. Ghost assistance is also probabilistic and is not a reason to lose him deliberately.
Best teams
Day of the Dead allies can receive his post-defeat help on combo enders and specials. Kitana of that team adds a recovery plan around defeats and enemy resurrections.
Where to use
He fits repeated-special and attrition strategies with his named team. Keep enough power for the intended sequence without requiring a lucky free attack to make it work.
