This Jason is a reactive attacker who threatens to turn an enemy special into a Stun counterattack. His presence makes committing a special against him a risk for the opponent.
Strengths
A successful evasion creates both damage and a control opening. Nightmare allies receive an additional chance to push Special Attack 2 through block.
Weaknesses
Evasion is probabilistic, so he can still take a dangerous special. Do not deliberately absorb a lethal threat on the assumption that his passive will trigger.
Best teams
Nightmare teammates that frequently use Special Attack 2 directly benefit from his support. An ally able to exploit a stunned target can follow his counter when a safe rotation is available.
Where to use
Choose him against opponents whose pressure relies heavily on specials. His distinguishing defense contributes less during exchanges dominated by basic attacks rather than the attacks his passive evades.
