When blocking, there is a 20% chance that all direct damage will be ignored from special attacks. Also, when blocking basic attacks, there is a 20% chance to apply weaken, power drain, or cripple.
Role
Klassic Jax is a defensive responder whose passive rewards blocking incoming pressure. His purpose is to make a guarded exchange less comfortable for the attacker.
Strengths
Blocked basic attacks can disrupt the opponent's damage or power plan through debuffs. The special-attack defense offers an additional chance to survive a direct-damage exchange.
Weaknesses
Both parts depend on blocking and probabilistic triggers. Do not treat damage avoidance as guaranteed or assume it covers damage outside the stated direct-special condition.
Best teams
Pair him with an attacker who can exploit an opponent affected by Weaken, Power Drain or Cripple. He provides reactive control rather than an explicit faction-wide damage bonus.
Where to use
Use him in matchups where you can deliberately block and wait for a safe response. An enemy that consistently bypasses your guard undermines the central condition of his passive.
