Scorpion's successful Fire Element hits apply Bunseki to the opponent, up to 30 stacks. Scorpion analyzes them, increasing Magic, Fire and Lightning Element damage dealt to that opponent by 2% and reducing damage from their Special Attacks by 2% for each stack.

At 10+ Bunseki stacks, Fukushuu is unlocked. It is a counterattack that deals low Fire Element damage for each Bunseki stack and grants a bonus for 10 seconds. At 15+ stacks it applies Blind. At 20+ stacks it also applies Shield Break. Fukushuu has a 10-second cooldown. Bunseki stacks reset only upon Scorpion's death.

Team Passive

MKII Movie Scorpion's team receives 50% less damage from Ice Element attacks. When an MKII Movie teammate tags in, they gain Shield for 5 seconds. While MKII Movie Scorpion is alive, all Netherrealm and Martial Artist teammates are immune to Fire DOT effects.

Role

MK2 Movie Scorpion builds Bunseki through successful Fire Element hits, weakening enemy specials and preparing stronger elemental damage against that target.

Strengths

The buildup supports Magic, Fire and Lightning damage. Higher stacks add Blind and Shield Break to his available counterattack, while his team gains protection from specific Ice and Fire threats.

Weaknesses

He must land the qualifying Fire hits first, and the counter has a cooldown. Fire Element attacks and Fire DOT are separate conditions in the stated abilities.

Best teams

MK2 Movie allies gain Shield on entry. Netherrealm and Martial Artist teammates receive Fire DOT immunity while he lives, and elemental attackers can exploit the prepared target.

Where to use

Use him in longer elemental fights where Bunseki can accumulate. Prepare the target before committing the team's strongest supported elemental attacks.
