Lava Skin

After using a special attack, Black Dragon Tremor sheds his Gold Skin and gains Lava Skin. While in Gold Skin form, Black Dragon Tremor gains 70% resistance to all debuffs. While in Lava Skin form, Black Dragon Tremor’s next special attack will have fire effect, and his special attack 2 will also deal 25% damage to tagged-out opponents. Black Dragon Tremor switches between skin forms each time he uses a special attack.

Team Passive

All Black Dragon teammates gain 50% damage boost against enemies affected by stun, cripple, and weaken.

Role

Black Dragon Tremor alternates defensive debuff resistance with offensive Lava specials. Track the current skin before choosing whether to absorb pressure or spend power.

Strengths

Gold Skin provides a defensive phase against negative effects. Lava Skin adds Fire and lets Special Attack 2 contribute against enemies outside the active slot.

Weaknesses

Every special changes his skin, so using one solely for immediate damage can remove the resistance you wanted to keep. The defensive and offensive packages are not simultaneously permanent.

Best teams

Black Dragon teammates benefit against enemies with Stun, Cripple or Weaken. Pair him with a source of one of those effects to give the team damage bonus an actual trigger.

Where to use

Use him in fights where alternating protection and bench pressure is useful. Plan the second special in the correct skin instead of assuming every Special Attack 2 has the same reach.
