MK Mobile Realm Klash Guide 2026 — Quick Play, Survivor & Klash Towers

Realm Klash is the competitive mode that replaced the old Faction Wars system in MK Mobile.

If you are reading an older Faction Wars guide, a large part of it is now outdated. The mode was rebuilt in several stages: factions became Realms, seasons became two weeks long, Kameos and new Store rewards were added, and Klash Towers introduced a completely new way to earn points through both offense and defense.

In the current MK Mobile 7.3 version, Realm Klash contains three separate ways to earn Kunai Points:

  • Quick Play;
  • Survivor;
  • Klash Towers.

All three contribute to your personal ranking, while part of your activity also contributes to your Realm's position.

What changed from the old Faction Wars?

The biggest change is that you no longer fight for one of the old factions.

Realm Klash is built around five Realms competing against each other during a two-week season. Your personal progress is measured primarily through Kunai Points, while Realm Points contribute to the overall Realm-versus-Realm competition.

The top personal ranks are now:

  1. Elder God
  2. God
  3. Demi God

There are rewards during the season and again at the end of the season. Higher ranks provide stronger rewards, including currencies, character rewards and, at high ranks, Equipment Kaskets.

Because the system has changed repeatedly since its introduction, avoid using old reward tables from pre-Realm Klash Faction Wars guides.

Which Realm should you choose?

Your Realm determines which side you contribute to during the current Realm Klash competition.

Do not overthink the choice purely from the perspective of personal progression. Your individual leaderboard position is still driven by the Kunai Points you personally earn.

The game may temporarily prevent players from joining a particular Realm if its population becomes too large compared with the others. This is intended to keep Realm participation more balanced.

For most players, the important decision is not the name of the Realm but how efficiently they use Quick Play, Survivor and Klash Towers during the season.

What are Kunai Points?

Kunai Points are the main scoring currency used for your personal Realm Klash ranking.

You can earn them from all three current modes:

  • Quick Play;
  • Survivor;
  • Klash Towers.

Your personal rank rises as your Kunai total increases.

A portion of player activity also feeds into Realm Points, which determine how the Realms perform against each other.

Do not confuse Kunai Points with Blood Rubies.

Kunai Points are leaderboard score.

Blood Rubies are a spendable Store currency.

Seasonal bonus characters matter

Realm Klash seasons feature specific character and class bonuses.

These bonuses are especially important in Survivor because they can dramatically increase the amount of Kunai you earn from a successful run.

Recent Realm Klash updates expanded the possible combinations so that seasons can feature individual characters and classes that were not previously used together.

Before starting serious Survivor runs, always inspect the current bonuses.

A strong team with no bonus can sometimes earn less total progress than a slightly weaker team built around the current multiplier.

At the same time, do not destroy a functional Survivor team simply to force the maximum possible bonus. A multiplier has no value if the team dies early.

Quick Play

Quick Play is the simplest Realm Klash mode.

You choose a team from your own collection, fight matched opponents and earn Kunai Points.

It does not have the long-run resource management of Survivor or the five-floor structure of Klash Towers, which makes it useful when you simply want additional Realm Klash score.

Quick Play becomes especially useful after you have already used the best Survivor bonus teams and available Klash Tower attacks.

For most players trying to climb high ranks, however, Quick Play should be viewed as an additional scoring method rather than the only mode they play.

Survivor is still important

Survivor remains part of Realm Klash, but it should no longer be viewed through the old Faction Wars framework alone.

The basic endurance mechanic remains: damage persists through the ladder. If a character loses Health in one battle, that lost Health matters in the next.

Characters can die, Equipment can become unavailable through the run system, and successful progression depends on preserving resources rather than simply winning each individual fight as quickly as possible.

That is why a good Survivor team values:

  • healing;
  • resurrection or death protection;
  • Power control;
  • reliable Block Breaker;
  • resistance;
  • strong team passives;
  • efficient damage that does not require taking unnecessary hits.

You can see current team examples on Best Survivor Teams.

Do not waste your best Survivor bonus characters

Seasonal bonuses are limited by the characters you actually own.

If one specific fighter has a very high current multiplier, do not automatically place that fighter into a weak team that cannot survive the ladder.

Build around the bonus character.

Give them teammates that provide healing, protection, Power control or enough damage to keep the run stable.

For high scoring, it is often better to complete a full ladder with a slightly lower multiplier than to lose early with a theoretically perfect multiplier.

Mid-season refresh does not revive everything

One of the details old guides can get wrong is how the mid-season split interacts with Survivor.

Current Realm Klash specifically distinguishes between characters that survived and characters that died.

At the mid-season refresh, surviving characters can become available again, but dead characters do not simply return because the split changed.

Kameos receive their own mid-season refresh.

This means you should still protect valuable bonus characters near the end of the first half of the season rather than assuming every card will automatically reset.

Klash Towers are the biggest Realm Klash rework

Klash Towers were added as the next major phase of Realm Klash and are now one of the most important ways to earn Kunai.

They work in two different phases:

  • Preparation Phase;
  • Invasion Phase.

The defensive side is particularly unusual because you do not build your Tower from your normal account collection.

Instead, the game gives you a temporary season-specific pool of characters, Equipment and Kameos.

You use those cards to build five defensive floors.

This means even a player without every meta character can participate in Tower defense.

Klash Towers unlock at Account Level 30

Klash Towers are not available immediately on a new profile.

Since Update 7.1, your account must be at least Level 30 to participate.

If you have not reached that milestone yet, continue using Quick Play and Survivor while developing your collection.

For general progression advice, see the MK Mobile Beginner Guide.

Preparation Phase: building your defensive Tower

At the beginning of a Realm Klash season, the game gives you a temporary pool containing Gold and Diamond characters, Kameos, and Rare and Epic Equipment.

These cards are separate from your personal collection.

The game also controls the Fusions and rarities allowed on each floor, so you do not need to level those defensive cards yourself.

Your job is to create the most difficult five-floor Tower possible from the options you receive.

Later floors allow stronger card combinations than early floors.

A simple defensive principle is:

do not waste your strongest synergy on a floor that cannot support all of its important pieces.

Look for combinations of:

  • character passives;
  • Equipment;
  • Kameos;
  • Tower Talents;
  • Battle Modifiers.

Tower Talents are separate from your normal Talent Tree

Klash Towers have their own defensive Talent Tree.

Changing these Tower Talents does not require you to destroy the setup you use in ordinary gameplay.

This is important because defense often wants different things from an attacking team.

For example, your normal build may focus heavily on offense, while a defensive Tower can benefit more from survival, disruption and effects that punish mistakes.

Tower Talents can only be edited during the Preparation Phase, so do not wait until the Invasion Phase to think about them.

Battle Modifiers changed Klash Towers again in 7.3

Update 7.3 added Battle Modifiers to Klash Towers.

These are similar to the modifiers encountered in Event Towers and can change the rules of an individual floor.

Modifiers have four strength categories:

  • Easy;
  • Medium;
  • Hard;
  • Extreme.

Each modifier also has a Weight, while every floor has a maximum total Weight it can support.

Later floors allow heavier combinations.

This means a higher floor can potentially combine several difficult effects instead of relying only on stronger characters and Equipment.

Modifiers are consumables. Once assigned and consumed for a Tower season, they are not permanently reusable unless you own additional copies.

They are optional, so a Tower can still be set as Ready without them.

Where do Battle Modifiers come from?

Modifiers can be earned as special rewards and can also appear in the Realm Klash Store.

Fully completing an opposing Klash Tower also awards a random Modifier in the current system.

Because modifiers are consumable resources, do not automatically spend your best Extreme modifier on the first acceptable floor.

Save strong modifiers for defensive teams that can actually exploit them.

For example, a modifier that punishes DOT strategies is much more valuable on a floor already difficult to beat through direct damage than on a weak team that collapses immediately anyway.

Invasion Phase: attacking other players

During the Invasion Phase, you attack Towers created by players from rival Realms.

Your attacking team comes from your actual collection.

Once the game finds an opposing Tower, you currently have one hour to defeat its five floors.

Unlike Survivor:

  • Health does not carry between floors;
  • you can change your attacking team before each fight;
  • your characters do not become exhausted after the Tower;
  • losing does not permanently damage your roster.

This means you should actively counter each floor instead of trying to force one team through all five battles.

You no longer need to clear all five floors to earn Kunai

This is one of the biggest 7.3 changes.

Originally, Klash Towers were much more all-or-nothing.

Now every cleared floor awards Kunai Points.

The current official values are:

  • Floor 1 — 25,000 Kunai
  • Floor 2 — 75,000 Kunai
  • Floor 3 — 150,000 Kunai
  • Floor 4 — 275,000 Kunai
  • Floor 5 — 475,000 Kunai

A full five-floor clear therefore awards 1,000,000 Kunai Points.

This makes attempting Klash Towers much more worthwhile for developing accounts.

Even if Floor 5 is impossible, clearing the first four still gives meaningful progress.

Full Tower completion gives additional rewards

Clearing all five floors does more than award the full Kunai total.

A full completion also provides additional Realm Klash rewards, including:

  • Blood Rubies;
  • a random Battle Modifier consumable.

The exact balance of Realm Klash rewards has already changed several times, so check the current in-game reward panel before building a long-term farming calculation around one fixed number.

The important point is that Klash Towers are no longer only a leaderboard activity. Full completions now contribute directly to the resources you can spend in the Realm Klash ecosystem.

Klash Tower attack attempts

Klash Towers use a limited number of daily attack entries.

After using the free entries, you can refresh the full set of attacks, with up to two refreshes per day.

Current player reports in 7.3 describe three initial Towers plus two additional full refreshes, allowing up to nine Tower attacks on active Invasion days when all refreshes are used.

The refresh currency is Souls.

Do not confuse this with early 7.0 information: Klash Tower refreshes initially used Blood Rubies, but Update 7.0.1 changed the cost to Souls.

For a developing account, there is no reason to automatically buy every refresh.

First make sure you can clear enough floors for the extra attempts to justify the Souls.

How to attack a Klash Tower

Do not treat Klash Towers like Event Towers.

You are not locked into one team for all floors.

Before every battle:

  1. Read the modifier.
  2. Inspect all three defenders.
  3. Check their Equipment.
  4. Check the Kameo.
  5. Identify resurrection, dodge, healing and defensive threats.
  6. Change your team if the matchup demands it.

The strongest offensive Realm Klash team is not necessarily the team with the highest raw stats.

A good attacking roster needs answers.

That can mean:

  • anti-dodge;
  • Power control;
  • buff removal;
  • Incurability;
  • resistance;
  • resurrection control;
  • reliable Block Breaker;
  • burst damage.

Current attacking compositions are available on Best Realm Klash Teams.

Do not rely on DOT for every Klash Tower

DOT teams can still destroy many normal opponents, but Battle Modifiers make them much less universal than before.

A defensive floor can now specifically punish or neutralize a strategy that normally works everywhere else.

That is why Realm Klash rewards collection depth more than repeatedly using one favorite trio.

Have at least several offensive approaches available.

For example:

  • direct damage;
  • Power control;
  • healing and endurance;
  • anti-buff;
  • anti-resurrection;
  • anti-dodge;
  • debuff resistance.

The Character Tier List and Equipment Tier List can help identify alternatives when one strategy is being countered.

Defensive wins can earn Kunai while you are offline

Your defensive Tower continues to participate even when you are not actively playing.

If another player attacks your Tower, the outcome can award defensive Kunai.

The defensive reward structure has been rebalanced several times, including during the 7.3 Klash Tower changes, so old guides quoting one fixed defensive payout are particularly unreliable.

The practical advice is simple:

always Ready your defensive Tower.

Even a Tower that is not perfectly optimized can generate additional Realm Klash progress without requiring active battles from you.

Should you make your defensive Tower as difficult as possible?

If you enjoy the competitive side, yes — use the strongest synergies available from your seasonal mini-roster.

But the reward balance changed in 7.3, and community behavior has changed with it.

Current player discussions show that some players now build easier defensive Towers because offensive full clears provide Blood Rubies and modifiers, while the value of elaborate defense has become less dominant than it was in earlier Klash Tower versions.

That is a community choice, not a game rule.

If your goal is competitive ranking, build the best defense you can.

If your goal is simply participation and collecting rewards, you do not need to spend excessive time min-maxing every defensive floor.

Realm Klash Store

Blood Rubies remain the Store currency associated with Realm Klash.

The modern Store is much broader than the old Faction Wars Store.

Current offers can include:

  • Gold character offers;
  • a rotating Diamond character offer;
  • Kameo packs;
  • specialized Kameo offers;
  • Equipment;
  • Battle Modifiers;
  • other seasonal items.

Update 7.2 added a Diamond character offer that changes with each Realm Klash season, similar to the existing Gold rotation.

Kameo offers have also been expanded over multiple updates.

Because the Store changes, do not spend Blood Rubies simply because you have enough.

Check what your account actually needs.

What should you buy with Blood Rubies?

For a developing account, guaranteed useful rewards are generally preferable to random purchases with no clear purpose.

A practical decision process is:

  1. Check whether the rotating Diamond is important for your account.
  2. Check the Gold offer if that character can reach an important Fusion.
  3. Evaluate Kameos only if they improve a team or mode you actually play.
  4. Consider Equipment that fills a real weakness.
  5. Buy Battle Modifiers when you actively care about improving your defensive Klash Tower.

Do not spend Blood Rubies on modifiers simply because they are new.

A strong modifier improves only your defensive Tower. A useful character, Kameo or Equipment card can help elsewhere as well.

Which Realm Klash mode should you prioritize?

That depends on the account.

Newer account

Use Quick Play and manageable Survivor runs.

Build your roster first and unlock Klash Towers at Account Level 30.

Do not sacrifice every strong character chasing maximum Survivor multipliers.

Mid-game account

Start using Survivor more seriously and attempt Klash Towers.

The new partial-floor rewards mean you no longer need to clear all five floors for the attack to have value.

Use Best Survivor Teams and Best Realm Klash Teams as starting points.

Developed account

Klash Towers become one of the largest sources of Realm Klash score.

Use all strong seasonal Survivor bonuses, attack Towers consistently and add Quick Play when you still need more Kunai for your target rank.

At this stage, the question becomes how much time and Souls you are willing to spend for leaderboard placement.

Do not grind blindly for a rank

Higher Realm Klash ranks give better rewards, but ranking is competitive.

The amount of Kunai required for Elder God, God or another rank is not fixed because it depends on the other players in your Realm and platform environment.

Do not assume that a score that secured God last season will guarantee the same rank in the next one.

Check the leaderboard during the season and decide whether the additional grind is worth the next reward tier.

This is especially important near the mid-season and final reward cutoffs.

Common Realm Klash mistakes

  • Following an old Faction Wars guide as if the mode had not changed.
  • Playing only Quick Play and ignoring Survivor and Klash Towers.
  • Using Survivor bonus characters in teams that cannot finish the ladder.
  • Assuming dead Survivor characters automatically return at mid-season.
  • Forgetting to Ready a defensive Klash Tower.
  • Building defense from your own collection instead of using the season-provided mini-roster.
  • Ignoring Tower Talents during Preparation.
  • Spending strong Modifiers on weak floors with no synergy.
  • Using the same attacking team on all five Klash Tower floors.
  • Giving up on a Tower because Floor 5 is too hard even though partial clears now award Kunai.
  • Using old Blood Ruby refresh information from early Klash Tower guides.
  • Spending Blood Rubies without checking the current seasonal Store.
  • Grinding for a rank without checking how far away the next reward tier actually is.

A simple Realm Klash routine

At the beginning of a new season, first check the featured character and class bonuses.

Then:

  1. Build and Ready your defensive Klash Tower during Preparation.
  2. Set Tower Talents and add Modifiers only where they create real synergy.
  3. Plan Survivor teams around the current scoring bonuses.
  4. Preserve high-value Survivor characters instead of wasting them on weak runs.
  5. During Invasion, use your free Klash Tower attacks.
  6. Treat every floor as a separate matchup and change teams when necessary.
  7. Use paid attack refreshes only if the extra Kunai and completion rewards justify the Souls.
  8. Use Quick Play to add more score when your limited high-value activities are finished.
  9. Monitor your rank instead of relying on last season's score.
  10. Check the Store before spending Blood Rubies.

Realm Klash is now much more than renamed Faction Wars. The 2026 version rewards a wide collection, good Survivor resource management, intelligent Klash Tower offense and the ability to build a defense from cards you do not normally own.

For attack teams, use Best Realm Klash Teams. For endurance runs, use Best Survivor Teams.
