Best Teams for MK Mobile Towers

Updated: Game version: 7.3.0

These are ordinary Tower battle recommendations. Read regeneration, immunity, tag and power modifiers before selecting a trio. DOT clears susceptible waves quickly; control and resistance are safer when the modifier prevents the usual rotation. Keep the current tower’s damage and health bonuses in spare slots.

Core items are starting points, not a requirement to fill every slot with Tower Epics. Diamond builds allow four slots; these Gold builds fit three. Use current-tower damage and health gear in open slots, keeping weapon/armor/accessory restrictions and one copy per team.

Sub-Zero MK11Sub-Zero MK11

Support

Diamond · A

Why it works

Scorpion carries through rapid basic strings, repeated SP1 pressure and team Fire against susceptible enemies. Liu Kang makes each MK11 tag a window to attack through dodge and Blind, while Sub-Zero supplies the safety net that keeps an interrupted carry in the fight. Rotate deliberately: this composition has both direct damage and DOT, but its protection is limited and does not replace a properly fused attacker.

Recommended equipment

Four-slot Diamond build

How to play
  1. Start with Scorpion and connect basics before SP1.
  2. Tag to renew Liu Kang’s anti-dodge window instead of attacking evasion indefinitely.
  3. Keep Sub-Zero alive; use him to absorb pressure only when necessary.
  4. Against bosses, build direct damage and read immunity modifiers before relying on Fire.

Strengths

  • Fast SP1 pressure
  • Timed anti-dodge protection
  • A defensive save for the carry

Weaknesses

  • Damage depends heavily on Scorpion’s fusion.
  • DOT healing opponents need an anti-heal answer.
Possible replacements

Replace Sub-Zero MK11 with Jade MK11: Replace the ice-clone safety net with healing from enemy DOT. Prefer Jade for attrition; she does not reproduce Sub-Zero’s save.

Skarlet AssassinSkarlet Assassin

Support

Diamond · B

Why it works

This is a DOT damage engine rather than a conventional MK11 rotation. Scorpion applies Fire, Mileena strengthens the team’s damage over time, and Assassin Skarlet adds another Fire-oriented layer. The support cards can contribute before they are strong enough to carry through basic attacks. Select this trio for enemies that actually take DOT damage; Fire immunity, healing from DOT and dispelling can completely change the matchup.

Recommended equipment

Scorpion MK11

Mileena Ravenous

Skarlet Assassin

How to play
  1. Open with Scorpion to spread Fire.
  2. Use short safe rotations to reapply pressure; do not sacrifice the amplifiers.
  3. Inspect enemy Jade, regeneration and immunity before entering.
  4. Use an Incurability source against healing, but never assume it removes DOT immunity.

Strengths

  • Low-fusion support remains useful
  • Team-wide damage pressure
  • Quick ordinary tower clears

Weaknesses

  • Poor default choice for DOT-immune bosses.
  • Little dependable healing.
Possible replacements

Replace Skarlet Assassin with Tanya Pyromancer: A Gold alternative for Fire support. This becomes a mixed team and no longer qualifies as an all-Diamond composition.

Raiden KlassicRaiden Klassic

Rain KlassicRain Klassic

Control

Diamond · S

Why it works

Liu Kang makes team tags a source of Cripple, creating space for Raiden’s entry pressure and Rain’s Soaked setup. Raiden is particularly valuable against ordinary opponents because his entry removes health and power; that health removal must not be treated as a boss strategy. Liu Kang remains the sustained fighter when the opening burst is insufficient. Rain makes this more than three independent attackers by preparing targets for lightning damage.

Recommended equipment

Core equipment; unlisted slots are open

Liu Kang Klassic

Raiden Klassic

Rain Klassic

How to play
  1. Use Rain to establish Soaked before committing lightning damage.
  2. Tag Raiden into ordinary enemies for immediate health and power pressure.
  3. Rotate back to Liu Kang while Cripple limits retaliation.
  4. Use Liu Kang’s SP1 Fire for his own recovery when healing is allowed.

Strengths

  • Cripple on team tags
  • Strong ordinary-fight opening
  • Lightning setup and a sustained carry

Weaknesses

  • Raiden’s entry health loss does not work on bosses.
  • Tag restrictions interrupt the rotation.
Possible replacements

Replace Rain Klassic with Reptile Klassic: Trade Soaked lightning setup for Poison and Outworld critical support; use against healing where Poison is allowed.

Skarlet KlassicSkarlet Klassic

Gold · A

Why it works

Liu Kang supplies Cripple on team tags and a strong active damage option, Smoke turns resistance investment into reflected debuffs, and Skarlet offers an independent recovery fighter. This mixed-rarity team is selected for modifier control rather than the Raiden entry burst of the all-Diamond Klassic lineup. It works best when resistance equipment is deliberately assigned and the player alternates the two fighters instead of allowing one damaged carry to absorb every exchange.

Recommended equipment

Core equipment; unlisted slots are open

Liu Kang Klassic

Smoke Klassic

Skarlet Klassic

How to play
  1. Give resistance gear to the fighter who will face the modifier.
  2. Rotate to renew Cripple and open safe attack windows.
  3. Use Liu Kang’s self-Fire recovery when permitted.
  4. Let Skarlet establish Anemia before relying on her SP2 healing.

Strengths

  • Cripple and reflection together
  • Two recovery-capable fighters
  • Useful against debuff-heavy modifiers

Weaknesses

  • Resistance needs equipment; not automatic immunity.
  • Mixed rarity excludes the Diamond and Gold-only lists.

Frost MK11Frost MK11

Shang Tsung MK11Shang Tsung MK11

Healing

Diamond · A

Why it works

Frost’s Spec Ops speed benefit improves Klassic Raiden’s attack rhythm, while her Pulse creates active damage windows of its own. Shang Tsung rewards MK11 knockouts with recovery, making Frost the preferred finisher when health matters. Raiden opens ordinary enemies and then hands the fight back. This differs from the Scorpion core: the win condition is accelerated direct pressure and Pulse timing, not repeated team Fire.

Recommended equipment

Core equipment; unlisted slots are open

Frost MK11

Raiden Klassic

Shang Tsung MK11

How to play
  1. Use Raiden’s entry pressure against non-boss opponents.
  2. Give Frost time on the field to charge her Pulse.
  3. Fit connected hits and a special into the slowed-time window.
  4. Let Frost secure knockouts when Shang Tsung’s healing is needed.

Strengths

  • Fast basic-attack rhythm
  • Pulse burst windows
  • MK11 knockout recovery

Weaknesses

  • Raiden does not receive MK11-only healing.
  • Pulse needs active field time.
Possible replacements

Replace Shang Tsung MK11 with Jade MK11: Switch knockout healing to DOT healing for the MK11 members; Raiden still does not gain MK11-only benefits.

Erron Black Black DragonErron Black Black Dragon

Damage dealer

Why it works

Kabal gives Black Dragon combo enders and specials a route through dodge, making this a targeted answer to evasive opponents. Tremor brings pressure against controlled enemies and changes the rhythm with his forms, while Erron contributes damage without forcing every exchange onto one carry. Choose it for the matchup rather than faction completion: its distinctive value is reliable attack access where a conventional special-heavy team repeatedly misses.

Recommended equipment

Core equipment; unlisted slots are open

Tremor Black Dragon

Kabal Black Dragon

Erron Black Black Dragon

How to play
  1. Identify dodge threats before choosing this team.
  2. Use Tremor’s control openings before spending large specials.
  3. Keep Kabal available to handle stun pressure.
  4. Use Erron when the opponent makes staying on Tremor unsafe.

Strengths

  • Faction anti-dodge attacks
  • Two credible damage dealers
  • Rewards controlled targets

Weaknesses

  • Not a dedicated team-healing engine.
  • All three Diamonds need investment.
Possible replacements

Replace Erron Black Black Dragon with Kano Black Dragon: Use a better-fused Kano for a more stun-focused third slot while retaining Kabal’s faction benefit.

Gold · S

Why it works

Johnny’s SP1 power drain is the repeatable attack plan. Sonya removes an awkward ordinary opponent from the rotation with her red card, and Covert Ops Cassie supplies basic block-breaking support to the Spec Ops core. This is a sensible progression target because it does not require three rare Diamonds or a Tower Epic to explain its synergy. Strong fusion still matters: accessible does not mean a fresh copy clears Fatal towers.

Recommended equipment

Core equipment; unlisted slots are open

Johnny Cage Kombat Cup

Sonya Blade Kombat Cup

Cassie Cage Covert Ops

How to play
  1. Use Sonya’s first tag on the ordinary enemy you want to postpone.
  2. Return to Johnny and chain connected SP1 power drains.
  3. Keep Cassie alive for the Spec Ops block-breaking benefit.
  4. Bosses do not follow the red-card plan; use Johnny’s direct damage and allowed control.

Strengths

  • Accessible progression core
  • Repeatable SP1 power drain
  • Removes a troublesome ordinary target temporarily

Weaknesses

  • No native team healing.
  • Johnny carries most of the damage burden.
Possible replacements

Replace Cassie Cage Covert Ops with Cassie Cage Kombat Cup: Gain the full Kombat Cup utility package, including Cripple protection, but lose Covert Ops basic block-breaking support.

Skarlet KlassicSkarlet Klassic

Gold · A

Why it works

Scorpion pulls the most wounded opponent back with a well-executed SP1, letting the team finish damage instead of chasing fresh targets. Smoke supports the whole Klassic trio with debuff resistance and reflection on a successful resist. Skarlet provides a slower fallback fighter who develops Anemia and can heal through SP2 against an anemic target. This combines target selection, resistance and recovery without requiring a Diamond.

Recommended equipment

Core equipment; unlisted slots are open

Scorpion Klassic

Smoke Klassic

Skarlet Klassic

How to play
  1. Reach the SP1 performance threshold with Scorpion to pull the wounded target.
  2. Stack appropriate resistance gear with Smoke’s team support.
  3. Keep Skarlet on one target long enough to establish Anemia.
  4. Heal with Skarlet’s SP2 against that target when healing is not blocked.

Strengths

  • Focuses wounded opponents
  • Team debuff resistance
  • Skarlet has a recovery route

Weaknesses

  • Smoke alone does not guarantee immunity.
  • Skarlet needs setup time and copies.
Possible replacements

Replace Skarlet Klassic with Shang Tsung Klassic: Switch from Anemia sustain to support for repeated Klassic SP1 usage.

Why it works

Baraka builds damage while attacking and gains regeneration when he leaves, giving the team a deliberate attack-and-recover rhythm. Noob can select and pull a target through his Shadow Attack, while Jade turns applied debuffs into team damage pressure. The three jobs cooperate: isolate a victim, build pressure, then recover before Baraka falls. These are premium Golds, so this is a collection goal rather than a cheap beginner shopping list.

Baraka Lizard

Noob Saibot Lizard

How to play

  2. Use Noob’s Shadow Attack to select the target that must stay active.
  3. Apply debuffs to feed Jade’s Team Thrill.
  4. Tag Baraka out for regeneration before taking lethal damage.

Strengths

  • Chosen-target control
  • Baraka’s tag-out regeneration
  • Debuffs feed team pressure

Weaknesses

  • Premium Gold copies are scarce.
  • Incurability and tag restrictions hurt the cycle.

Kung Lao Circle of ShadowKung Lao Circle of Shadow

Quan Chi Circle of ShadowQuan Chi Circle of Shadow

Healing

Diamond · B

Why it works

Starting Liu Kang converts his opening stun into an immediate offensive opportunity. Kung Lao supplies starting power to the Circle, while Quan Chi turns later tag windows into opportunities to heal through unblocked attacks. The trio therefore has a defined opening and a recovery loop rather than relying solely on the first stun. Against stun immunity, retain the power and healing plan but stop expecting a free opening combo.

Recommended equipment

Core equipment; unlisted slots are open

Liu Kang Circle of Shadow

Kung Lao Circle of Shadow

Quan Chi Circle of Shadow

How to play
  1. Place Liu Kang first to use his opening passive.
  2. Spend the starting power before the enemy takes control.
  3. Tag to activate Quan Chi’s vampirism and land unblocked attacks.
  4. Preserve Quan Chi when a longer run still needs healing.

Strengths

  • Immediate opening pressure
  • Starting power for all three
  • Vampirism during tag windows

Weaknesses

  • Stun immunity weakens the opening.
  • Healing requires connecting attacks.
Possible replacements

Replace Quan Chi Circle of Shadow with Nightwolf Circle of Shadow: A different support package for the Circle, at the cost of Quan Chi’s repeatable vampirism.
